Britney Spears and Sam Asghari recently announced their engagement, which has elicited a lot of excitement among fans. After more than four years of dating, the pair became engaged, and Britney expressed her joy in a lovely Instagram post. Mayra Verónica, Asghari's ex, also responded to the news, telling TMZ that they both 'won the jackpot.'

"I feel fantastic," Mayra stated when asked how she feels about Britney and Sam's engagement by TMZ. I am thrilled for them. He had a lucky break! She, too, had a lucky break." She continued by gushing over Sam and praising his demeanor, saying, "He's really supportive." Britney Spears, who has been in conservatorship for the past 13 years, has been fighting to get it lifted in court. Throughout those trying years, the pop star has claimed that Sam has been her rock and has been by her side during her "hardest years." Sam has also showed his support for Spears in the past, wearing a Free Britney t-shirt to cheer her on during her first court appearance. He is also renowned for referring to Spears as a 'lioness,' a reference to her powerful spirit.

Britney and Sam met on the shoot of her 2016 music video for Slumber Party and have been friends ever since.Spears in her recent testimony for the conservatorship case had mentioned how she craves for a normal life and also expressed her feelings about getting married and having a baby.
