"Mom used to get me gifts, but now it's my turn to make her feel special," says Sagar, Urvashi Dholakia's son

Son of Naagin actress Urvashi Dholakia, Sagar Dholakia, wants to become an actor. He draws inspiration from his mother, an accomplished actor who has come a long way.

The young man is currently putting everything on hold because he wants to take full advantage of this festive season. He claims that over time, he has grown less interested in firecracker celebrations and now prefers to observe green Diwali. The significance of the festival has evolved for him over the years.

"I remember as children we used to get excited to burst crackers after Diwali puja, but slowly with time I realised that it disturbs animals and birds, so I stopped it a few years ago when I turned 18," Sagar says. Even though I now prefer to celebrate Diwali in a green way, my perspective on the festival's significance has also changed. Earlier, it was more about eating treats, setting off fireworks, and taking vacations, but now I see the point of every festival. It's more about praising the gods and using lights to spread positivity. And my mother used to buy me gifts for Diwali when I was a child, but now it's my turn to buy her something. She should feel special, I hope.

Speaking further about the holiday season, Sagar claims: "With my family by my side, I intend to spend the holiday at home. It's nice to see that everyone has added lighting to their front yards. I feel very happy and optimistic when I see the streets lit up. This is also my favourite festival."
