The bus was going from Haldwani to Bageshwar on the Bhawali-Almora National Highway late Friday night in Uttarakhand, the Bolero jeep fell into the ditch towards the Kosi river. In this accident, three people died on the spot. The Bolero vehicle going towards Bageshwar on Friday night uncontrolled near Suyalabad and got entrapped in the Kosi river 200 meters below. Three people were in the vehicle during the incident.

SI Dalip Singh Bisht of Quarb police outpost said in his statement that driver Mohan Singh Nagarkoti (45) son Uttam Singh Rahwasi Kanda Bageshwar and Dhirendra Nagarkoti (38) son Rajendra Nagarkoti died of drowning. Prakash Singh Nagarkoti (50) was missing. Whose body was recovered on Saturday morning about 50 meters from the river. The three people were returning to attend the cremation of a close relative in Ranibagh.

Also, on Saturday morning, the police have filled the three bodies and sent them to Nainital for post-mortem. During this time Naib Tehsildar Shubhangani, Patti Patwari Gaurav Rawat, Quarb Chowki in-charge Dalip Singh Bisht, Jeevan Nath Goswami, Rajendra Nath Goswami, SDRF's SI Ram Singh, Head Constable Lal Singh, Deep Chandra Sati, Rohit Kandpal were present. The entire incident is being investigated by the police. And there is a continuous inspection by the police at the scene of the incident.
