On Friday, a meeting of the United Muslim Action Committee has been held in Hyderabad regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. This meeting is being held in the headquarters of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Asaduddin Owaisi is also present in this. On this occasion, he has said many things related to the bill.

Addressing the meeting regarding this matter, Owaisi said, 'This law will have to be strongly opposed, but in a peaceful manner after the permission of the police. As you know, incidents of police brutality and violence are happening in Lucknow and Delhi. Also, two Muslims died in Mangaluru. If there is violence in it, we will condemn it and separate ourselves from it.

For your information, let us tell you that the protest called on the call of Samajwadi Party in UP on the other side turned into arson, sabotage, stone pelting and firing in Lucknow at noon. The miscreants set fire to dozens of government and private vehicles and blew up two police posts. One person died in Hussainabad area in the violence, while two youths were injured due to bullet injuries. OB vans of media also became targets. More than 70 policemen including ADG, IG, SP traffic were injured in the stone-pelting. Seeing the situation uncontrollable, the buses of Metro and Transport Corporation were stopped till further orders.
