Aurangabad: Police and SSB have conducted a joint raid from Nagar police station area of Aurangabad district of Bihar and arrested a naxalite from Jharkhand. Police said the arrested naxalite was absconding since 2017, which jharkhand police were on the lookout for. Nagar police station in-charge Anjani Kumar on Friday said that the search for arrested naxalite Dharmendra Yadav was with the Tandwa police station since 2017.

He also said that Yadav was currently hiding near Ramlakhan Singh Yadav College in Shahpur area of Aurangabad city. SSB received a letter that naxalite Dharmendra was in Aurangabad city. Tahrir was cordoned off along with nagar police station and caught.

The same arrested naxalite is a resident of Piculia village in Tandwa police station area. According to SSB, he was hiding in Aurangabad to carry out a major incident. The naxalite was reported to have reached Gaya. The team was conducting searches in Gaya based on the input. Police are now receiving tahrir about the naxalite arrested from other police stations as well. At the same time, the investigation into the matter is continuing.
