Ranchi: Naxalites have launched a major attack in Latehar district of Jharkhand on Friday night. According to the information, 3 cops have been killed in this attack and one injured policeman has also died in the hospital. According to officials, at around 8.30 pm on Friday night, armed Naxals attacked the vehicle of the police. At the time of the attack, the police personnel in the canopy police station area were passing by the official vehicle.

Kailash Vijayvargiya said this on the BJP government in Maharashtra, said: "Whoever wins is Alexander..."

Officials said the Naxalites suddenly attacked the policemen. The police was not ready for this attack at all. According to information, one of the sub-inspector rank officer was among the martyred policemen. The killed policemen include one SI and three jawans. The Sub Inspector is named Sukiya Oraon. In June this year, Naxals attacked policemen in Seraikela-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. Five policemen were killed in this attack.

Just before the assembly elections in Jharkhand, the Naxalites made their presence known today and fired at the PCR van of the police at Lukia Mor on National Highway No. 22 in Chandwa police station area of Latehar. In this attack, an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (ASI) and three Home Guards personnel were martyred while a jawan went missing which was later recovered.
