Bhubaneswar: The priest's son has been shot dead in front of odisha's famous Jagannath temple. The incident is said to have taken place late at night. The situation is tense after the incident. At the same time, police say that there may be personal enmity behind the murder. At the same time, superintendent of police (SP) Kanwar Vishal Singh has informed that the main accused has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of pujari's son.  

He said that, preliminary investigation is revealing personal enmity behind the murder. The case is currently under investigation. According to the report, the deceased has been identified as Shivram Patra, son of a priest of a temple in the pilgrimage town of Harchandi Talucha Shahi. Two bike-borne miscreants had opened fire on Shivram Patra just 20 metres away from the Singh Dwar (main gate) of the Jagannath temple, killing him.  

Let us know that last month, about 40 earthen stoves were found in a broken state in the Jagannath temple. These chulhas were used to prepare the 'Mahaprasad' of Lord Jagannath, the bhog of which is offered to the Lord in the 'Ros Ghar' (kitchen). This case came into the limelight a lot.
