Asees Kaur, a well-known Bollywood singer well known for her songs like Raatan Lambiyan and Bolna, is getting married to lyricist and music composer Goldie Sohel on June 17 in Mumbai.
The pre-wedding celebrations have already begun, and the wedding is anticipated to be a small gathering of the couple's close friends and relatives from Panipat and Guwahati.
Earlier this year, Asees declared her engagement to Goldie. Asees posted a picture of the couple sitting inside a gurdwara in January on Instagram. She added emojis to the image that included a crimson heart, an infinity sign, and a nazar amulet.
On June 16, a suburban hotel will host the sangeet and ring rituals. Anand Karaj and lunch will conclude the festivities on June 17 at a gurdwara in the city. The 34-year-old singer claimed that she has always desired for her marriage to be a "private affair" since she is eager to share the occasion with those who are truly important to her."I’m looking at dancing like crazy at my wedding. Marriage is a once in a lifetime occasion and I want to make it the most memorable one," she said.
Asees said earlier this year that she fell in love with Sohel while filming I Don't Give A. She'd stated, “I am in the most beautiful phase of my life. I have been looking for love for such a long time now. It has been a beautiful journey till now."
Asees had also added, "It is amazing that we were working on a heartbreak song and we fell in love with the same person. Everybody is very happy when they fall in love and I am also very happy. It is special Asees is well-known for performing the wildly popular love song Raatan Lambiyaan from the movie Shershaah.
