Gandhi Nagar: PM Narendra Modi on Monday said that India is one of the few countries which are taking steps towards achieving the Paris Agreement's goal of keeping the temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius. Addressing representatives of COP 13 in Gandhi Nagar through video conferencing from Delhi.

In his address, PM Modi said that India is leading a climate campaign based on climate protection, sustainable lifestyle and green development model. India is only 2.4% of the world's landmass. If global biodiversity is taken care of, India contributes about 8% of it.
