Nehal is currently acquiring Belgian citizenship and is living in the US. He is accused of money laundering. He is accused of helping Nirav Modi move money from the PNB. At the same time, he has destroyed all the evidence.

ED has alleged that after the detection of the scam, it has scrapped the cell phones of all pseudo directors residing in Dubai and Hong Kong and booked their tickets for Cairo. On the other hand, Nirav Modi is in jail in England. Her extradition is being heard in Westminster Court in London. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized properties worth Rs 637 crore from Nirav Modi.

These properties are located in India and four other countries. The confiscated properties, jewellery, flats and bank balances etc. are located in India, the UK and other places including New York.
