Mumbai: The Bandra unit of the Mumbai Anti-Narcotics Cell has arrested four drug peddlers from near Airoli Junction. According to the news received, 266 kg of ganja has been recovered from these drug peddlers. The value of the recovered ganja is Rs 66.50 lakh in the international market. An officer of the Bandra unit of the Narcotics Cell had received a piece of secret information that some people were coming to Mumbai to smuggle drugs. Which will stop near Airoli Junction. Thereafter, the narcotics department officials laid a trap and waited for the drug peddlers to arrive.

According to the news received, as soon as 2 vehicles reached there, the officers of the Narcotics Department and the police surrounded them from all sides. On searching the officials, a large consignment of ganja was seized. Police have also seized both the cars along with ganja. Along with this, a complaint has been registered against the four peddlers under the NDPS Act. Police are investigating the case.
