Agrawal is the kingpin and prime accused in the Rs 50 cr Public Distribution System (PDS) scam of Mhow. Government pleader Ajay Nema confirmed about court's action regarding Mohan Agrawal.

Agrawal had surrendered before the police a few days back and was on police remand for recovery of evidence and gathering information about the other people involved in the scam who had been helping him in misappropriating the government supply ration meant for distribution amongst the poor people.
