In Punjab, water is being contaminated by blowing up the law. The worst is the village of Fazilka of Awa. Everyone will be stunned to see the grim picture of the place. Several dirty drains are flowing directly into the river in Fazilka causing serious diseases including dermatitis due to filthy stench and air-borne chemicals.

On the other hand, people are forced to drink and plant foamy water. Talking to the media, farmer Vikram Ahuja said that he found out in 40 RTI that water was not even fit for drinking in remote farms. Water level has reached 70 BOD and 4800 TDS. That is, the water is neither fit for human as well as animal.
