Alwar: In Rajasthan's Alwar district, the criminals uprooted a full ATM and took them along. The first miscreants entered the ATM cabin and sprayed it on CCTV cameras there. Then the ATM was uprooted and it took off. The ATM had a cash cache of lakhs of rupees. The incident of atm uprooting and looting happened at Mauajpur in the Lakshmangarh police station area of the Alwar district.

Between 1 and 2 p.m. last night, some crooks arrived at an ATM outside PNB Bank. Then cut the machine with a gas cutter and uprooted it and escaped. According to the information, the miscreants sprayed the CCTV cameras there before performing the incident so that their movements could not be captured on camera. According to PNB Bank management, the ATM had a cash cache of Rs 7 lakh. No guard was deployed to oversee the ATM machine at the time of the incident. After the incident was reported, other policemen including the SHO of Lakshmangarh police station rushed to the spot. Police are now investigating the incident. JP Meena, branch manager, Punjab National Bank, Mauajpur, said that the incident was reported to him at around 1.30 pm.

The police rushed to the spot after reports of the incident and a blockade of the area was imposed. However, so far, the police have not found any clue about the miscreants. The police have been written on behalf of the bank. The police are registering a case and doing the investigation. CCTV cameras in the area are also being used to check the footage.
