Lucknow: The President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind has reached his village Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat. He was given a warm welcome in the village. President Ram Nath Kovind first visited the pathri devi temple when he reached the village. The President was accompanied by his wife Savita Kovind and PM Narendra Modi at the Pathri Devi temple. This is his second visit to his village after becoming president.  

After being sworn in as the President on July 25, 2017, Ram Nath Kovind came here by presidential train last year. On June 25, his train halted at Jhinjhak and Rura railway stations. At both the stations, he addressed the public at programmes held on the platform. After this, he reached his homeland from Kanpur Nagar on June 27. He spent about an hour and a half in paraunkh.  

At that time, President Ram Nath Kovind had visited The Jhalkari Bai Inter College along with Pathri Mata Mandir, Ambedkar Park, Milan Kendra. Addressing the gathering, he had promised the villagers to come back to the village next year. He met many people in the village. Before a year, he reached the village again on Friday. The entire village has been decorated like a bride to welcome the President.
