New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala has targeted the Modi government while giving press talks. Surjewala has accused the government of cheating army officials and attacking their interests. Talking to the media, Surjewala said that why the PM who can spend thousands of crores take the ship and give the advertisement, why are they cutting the army pension.

Surjewala further said that " The PM who can buy a ship worth 8 thousand crores, can advertise  for seven and a half thousand crore rupees, why is he deducting army pension. What is the problem in giving them 50 percent pension to the army? The reality is that the Modi government has been doing anti-army work for 6 years continuously. ” Surjewala said that "Such ruthless preamble can only be done by the anti-army Modi government to cut half the pension of officers serving the country by putting their lives at stake."

Surjewala said, 'On the one hand, the pretentious PM Modi talks about burning the lamp for the army and on the other hand, cutting the pension of the courageous and brave military officers is trying to spread darkness. This is the false nationalism of the BJP. Surjewala said that the Modi government, taking votes in the name of martyrdom of soldiers and nationalism, is going to become the first government in the history of India to cut pension and 'active service' of military officers who risk their lives every day on the border. His second career choice after Active Service is set to rob.
