Supaul: A minor girl was kidnapped while sleeping from her home in Supaul district of Bihar. The accused youth took the girl to a deserted place along the canal and raped her. A panchayat took place in the village over this matter, in which the matter was being defused by giving two lakh rupees to the girl's family members. Before that, the police threaten to come to the village. The police have registered an FIR against the accused and started the process of arrest.

The incident took place in a village under the Triveniganj police station area of Supaul district. According to media reports, the minor girl Shobha (name changed) was sleeping in her house on Sunday night. During this, Subhan, a resident of the village, entered the house with another friend. He pressed Shobha's mouth with his hand so that she could not scream. After this, with the help of his friend, he took the girl to the Purandha Canal, where he raped her.

When the family saw Shobha missing from the house, her search was started. The family rushed towards the canal looking for Shobha. On seeing the girl's family, the accused Subhan along with his accomplice escaped from the scene. After the incident, a panchayat was convened in the village, where two lakh rupees were paid to the girl's family to end the case, but before that, the police reached the village. Police has conducted a medical examination of the victim girl and is taking further action.
