Mumbai: Enforcement Directorate has summoned Varsha Raut, the wife of Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut. Actually, this summons has been sent in connection with the investigation of the PMC bank scam. The ED has also called Varsha Raut for questioning on December 29. According to sources, Varsha Raut has a transaction of Rs 50 lakh with the wife of another accused named Pravin Raut in this case. In such a situation, Varsha Raut has been called in connection with the same transaction, however, Varsha Raut has also said that 'It has been borrowed for the purchase of the property.' That, 'Pravin Raut was arrested by ED a few days ago. The ED is trying to gather information about the transaction that took place from Pravin's account in Varsha Raut's account.
