Police arrested Babul Reddy's son-in-law Suresh Kumar Reddy in connection with the incident. Babul Reddy recorded a selfie video before committing suicide saying that Suresh Kumar Reddy was the cause of his death. Police arrested him in the wake of this. According to police, Babul reddy got his eldest daughter Shweta reddy married to Suresh a year ago after he said he was doing a software job. But after marriage, it turned out that he was not a software employee. With this, quarrels arose between Suresh and Shweta.
