New Delhi: The Supreme Court of the country is hearing necessary cases through video conferencing amidst Corona epidemic across the country. The Supreme Court has ruled the petition filed on behalf of Madhya Pradesh CM and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The court says that it was right to order a majority test by the Governor of Madhya Pradesh in March.

The apex court rejected the argument made by Congress leader and lawyer by profession Abhishek Manu Singhvi, in which he said that the governor cannot give such an order. That is, the court has rejected the petition of the Congress. The apex court said during the hearing that the governor had then asked not to take any decision on his own and to conduct a floor test. There are only two types of options left in a moving assembly, in which there is a floor test and no-confidence motion.

During this time, the court has also issued a detailed order regarding the rights of the governor. Let us tell you that Lalji Tandon, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, ordered a majority test in the Assembly amidst political turmoil. When the proceedings of the House started, the Speaker of the House deferred the House for a few days due to Corona.
