Chennai: A shocking incident has come to light from Vellore in Milanadu. Here a minor girl set herself on fire as some boys in her neighborhood had made a video of her while taking a bath. One of the three accused involved in the incident is also a minor. The age of the girl is said to be 15 years. According to the report, the three boys had allegedly made a video of the girl while bathing, which left her very hurt. In this incident, the victim girl is 90% injured. All the three accused are neighbors of the victim girl.
The ages of the three accused boys are 22, 19, and 17 years. After making the video, the accused threatened the girl and said that if she does not fulfill their demand to have a physical relationship, then they will put the video on social media. After this act of neighboring boys, the girl was hurt and tried to kill herself by setting herself on fire. Her body is scorched by 90%. She has been admitted to the Government Vellore Medical College and Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment in critical condition.
After this painful incident, the police took immediate action and filed a case against the accused under the POSCO Act. The accused have been sent to judicial custody for 15 days. The minor accused has been granted bail and has been sent to the Juvenile Home.
