New Delhi: Eminent writer Taslima Nasreen, who has been deported from Bangladesh for the past 25 years, has supported the citizenship amendment bill. Taslima Nasreen has said, 'I am happy that the government has passed it. This is very good for the persecuted minorities. It is true that minorities were tortured. When we criticize this, Islamic society hates us.

Taslima has further stated, "People like us should also get citizenship. This law is not against Muslims. India is not reducing its Muslim population. I miss my home. I am not going to Bangladesh either. Can. But this is a price that I have to pay. If I have to, I will write those books again. "

Let us tell you that after the Citizenship Amendment Bill was passed in both houses of Parliament, President Ram Nath Kovind has also signed the bill and now this bill has taken the form of law. It is being opposed in many places in the country and many politicians are calling it anti-Muslim. On the other hand, Taslima Nasreen herself does not agree with this, despite being a Muslim.
