Jaipur: A court in Nagaur, Rajasthan has sentenced a father to three years in prison for allegedly misbehaving with his minor daughter. The court convicted the father of misbehaving with his daughter and pronounced the sentence. It was alleged that the father used to misbehave with his own daughter by luring him with Rs 50.

The case is said to be from 2018. The father used to do obscene things to his daughter. When the mother came to know about it, she decided to lodge a police complaint. But the family asked to keep quiet. Despite this, the woman lodged a complaint against her husband in August 2018.  The woman alleged that the husband lured the twelve-year-old daughter with fifty rupees and misbehaved and threatened to kill her if she told about it to anyone. The family members also put pressure. The husband then made an apology on the stamp and asked him not to do such a thing again. The woman then went to her mother's house.
 
A few days later, the husband started harassing his wife again. The wife then filed a case against her husband. Now, in Merta, Nagaur, the court has sentenced the accused father to three years in the three-year-old case.
