Indore: Chhatripura Police has arrested two land mafia, who occupied government land and built a shop, then they were running these shops on rent. Moti also collects money from tenants. On the same accused, the police had declared a reward of 10-10 thousand. On the complaint of residents, the police have arrested four accused so far, but one accused is still being told as absconding.

While stating full information, the police said that in December 2019, the accused Bharat Raghuvanshi, Rajbahadur Raghuvanshi, Manoj Raghuvanshi, Raheit Raghuvanshi and Kapil Raghuvanshi had illegally captured the municipal land and started running a shop by renting it. The police arrested Rajbahadur and Manoj immediately after the residents' complaint on this matter, they had escaped the other three. After this, the police issued a warrant and announced a reward of 10-10 thousand on the three accused.

On Wednesday, the police had received information from Mukhbir. Based on this, the police took further action. The same accused are sitting near India and Rohit Trade Center. After this, a team laid siege at night and arrested both. The police will seek the remand of the accused. In remand, along with the source of their property, the police will also try to find out how much rent they have collected so far from the shops built on the land of the corporation.
