Akola: A shocking incident has come to light from Akola district of Maharashtra. Here a sister brutally killed her sister. The incident took place in Khadka village under Borgaon Manju police station area of the district. Here the married girl had reached her parents' house. Here she had a fight with her younger sister about something. Due to which the younger sister attacked her neck and chest one after another with a vegetable cutting knife.

Before anyone could understand anything, she caused serious injuries to the elder sister. After this, the family members took her to the hospital with the help of neighbours. However, the doctor there declared her dead. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the station house officer of Borgaon Manju police station and her team reached the spot and the culprit was arrested by the woman constable.

A case has been registered against the accused under Section 302 of the IPC. At the same time, the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem. Police are trying to ascertain the reason behind the incident. The police have also told that the criminal sister is mentally weak. She was also undergoing treatment. In November last year, a similar sensational incident of murder in a relationship was reported in Akola district. Here the merciless face of a woman was revealed when the doctors referred the woman's daughter to another hospital for treatment. Subsequently, she killed her 20-day-old daughter.
