New Delhi: The problem of the students appearing in the Agniveer Recruitment Examination has been resolved. Such students will be promoted in the second semester. However, they will have to appear for their missed semester exams later. Let us tell you that the students of PG College Kotdwar were in a quandary when the Agniveer recruitment exam and the semester exam of Sridev Samun University were held on the same day.

To demand the postponement of the university's semester examination, the student union officials had climbed on the water tank on the college campus late on Saturday evening. Then ASP SC Suyal on Sunday brought down the agitating student union officials from the tank by assuring that talks would be held with the university management. Principal Prof. on behalf of the college on Sunday Janaki Panwar, Dr. Abhishek Goyal, Dr. Praveen Joshi, Student President Ankush Ghildiyal, General Secretary Shubham Ghildiyal, Treasurer Megha, and Vice Chancellor of Sridevi Suman University, Prof. The issue was discussed between NP Joshi, Controller of Examinations Vijay Prakash Srivastava and Registrar Khemraj Bhatt. In which the student union officials demanded to promote the students going for Agniveer recruitment to the next semester or to extend the college examination date.

After which, the university administration assured the students that the students appearing in the Agniveer Recruitment Examination will be promoted in the second semester. However, these students will have to appear for their semester exams later (in the third semester for the first semester and in the fourth semester for the second semester).
