The International Cricket Council is considering to ban the use of saliva to shine the ball due to corona. Cricketers from all over the world are giving their suggestions on this rule. Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh suggested that different balls can be used from both ends in the Test. Australia's sports science and sports medicine manager Alex Contouris said that pesticides should be used on the ball during the match. Harbhajan said on YouTube channel Sports Talk, "You can use 2 balls from both ends in Test cricket. You can use one ball for reverse swing, while the other for swing.

Harbhajan said, "In 50 Tests, the ball should be replaced because by then the ball becomes old. It will not shine in any way. It should be on the captain's wish that he wants to use the new ball from both ends or only from one end. ''

The ball becomes heavy due to sweat: Harbhajan said that when the ball is old, it does not shine with sweat, but it is heavy. While the saliva is slightly thick and its repeated use helps in bringing glow in the ball. He said that I think there is no permanent solution. If you do not use saliva, it will take the bowlers away from the game. If the saliva is not applied, the ball will not stay in the air much longer and it will not spin as well.

Pesticide should be used on the ball in the match. Because it is not yet known how much the ball will be infected. He said that Australia has a match with England. He will use the permission from the ICC.

In training also, the players will have to use a different ball. Under these protocols, the players will have to use their separate ball in training. At least stuff has to be shared. He said that cricketers have to change some habits. Some people put their finger in the mouth before catching the ball, that they can shine the ball, it has to be released.
