Fire breaks out in dung cakes, three children died of suffocation

Muzaffarnagar: Man had lit a mortin in the room to protect it from mosquitoes. This led to a fire in the dormitories kept nearby. Due to which smoke started to rise and the innocent people sleeping in the room succumbed and died. Police reached the spot and investigated. Then the dead bodies of the children were cremated.

This case is related to Sisauli town of Bhorakalan police station area. Here, Rajbir son Hukma of Bhorakalan, Muzaffarnagar does daily wages on kilns with his five children and wife Seema. Last night he went to work with his three children Sapna (11 years), Abhay (9 years) and Nikhil (7 years) at the kiln with two elder daughters Moni Sal, Priya and his wife. Earlier, he had burnt the mortar incense sticks in the room to protect the children from mosquitoes.

Due to the fan movement, the ashes of the mortine fell on the dormitories kept nearby. All three children died due to suffocation from the smoke of the dung. According to Bhorakalan Police Station, post mortem of dead bodies of children was not done after filling the panchnama of dead bodies. Children have been cremated.
