Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement this morning, Friday morning. In fact, he addressed the nation this morning and announced the withdrawal of 3 new controversial laws and since his announcement, farmers have been in a state of excitement. Meanwhile, there are constant reactions from opposition leaders. In fact, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has termed it as a victory for farmers. Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik, on the other hand, has also reacted to the decision.

You can see how happy Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and wrote: "What a happy day Prakash Diwas today. All three laws were cancelled. More than 700 farmers were martyred. His martyrdom will remain immortal. Generations to come will remember how the farmers of this country saved the farmers and the farmers by risking their lives. My greetings to the farmers of my country.''

Apart from him, Nawab Malik, minister in the Maharashtra government, tweeted: "From today, all the three agricultural laws will not remain in this country. A big message has gone to the country that any decision can be changed if the country unites. Fearing electoral defeat, the Prime Minister has withdrawn all three agricultural laws. The victory of the farmers is the victory of the countrymen.'' At the same time, he wrote in another tweet: "The world should bow down, all the three agricultural laws were withdrawn, my greetings to the farmers of our country and greetings to the martyred farmers.''

Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has made it clear after PM Modi's announcement that the agitation will not end at the moment. He says that the agitation will not return immediately, we will wait for the day when agricultural laws will be repealed in Parliament. The Government should discuss MSP as well as other issues of farmers.
