Raipur: An incident similar to the Shraddha murder case has come to light from Chhattisgarh. The only difference is that in the Shraddha murder case, where the culprit cut the dead body into pieces after the murder, in this case, the man first shot the girlfriend in the forest, then burnt the body to hide the evidence. The criminal carried out the entire massacre by taking the girlfriend from Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Odisha. Police have arrested the criminal person.
Actually, 21-year-old Tanu Kurre, a resident of the Korba district of Chhattisgarh, used to work in a private bank in Raipur. She had left for Balangir on November 21 with her friend Sachin Agarwal. But after this Tanu's family members tried to talk to her, but they could not. Tanu's family alleges that after reaching Odisha, Sachin was not even allowing her to talk to her family members. However, after Tanu's murder, Sachin was talking to the housemates on chat to mislead them.
When Tanu's family members could not contact her, they lodged a missing complaint with the Raipur police. During the investigation, the Raipur police came to know that a burnt body has been found in Balangir. On the basis of the photo of the dead body, the family members identified Tanu's dead body. Then Balangir police started an investigation after registering a case. The police first suspected her boyfriend Sachin Agarwal. Sachin Agarwal was constantly changing his location. The police arrested him on the basis of the location of the phone. According to the police, the criminal confessed to the murder during interrogation. In police interrogation, the criminal told that he suspected that Tanu was having affair with someone else, due to which he took Tanu to Balangir on the pretext of taking her for a ride. He took Tanu to the forest and killed her. Then sprinkled petrol on the dead body and burnt it.
