Lucknow: A tragic incident unfolded in Ghaziabad as a Class 11 student reportedly took his own life by jumping from a high-rise building in the ATS Advantage Society. The incident, which occurred between 8 and 9 pm on Thursday, took place within the jurisdiction of the Indirapuram police station.

The victim, identified as 17-year-old Nav Khanna, was last seen with two friends on the 24th floor of the building. Following the incident, Khanna was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased. Authorities recovered a suicide note from his pocket, with the chilling message, "I fear suicide does not fail. Floor 24th, death confirmed."

While Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Swatantra Kumar Singh acknowledged the existence of the suicide note, he refrained from disclosing its contents, stating that the investigation was exploring all possible angles. According to officials, Khanna's friends were present with him on the 24th floor and were taking photographs when the tragedy occurred. They recounted that Khanna mentioned he was going downstairs for a task before the incident unfolded.

The police are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the exact circumstances leading to Khanna's fatal fall. Meanwhile, the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as authorities launch a comprehensive investigation into the heartbreaking incident.
