Tirupati: There are many such cases that blow senses. These cases are related to robbery, murder, misdemeanour and upon hearing about them, our senses blow away. Now one such case has come up recently. This matter is from Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh where a gang of miscreants stole mobile phones worth Rs 6 crore from a truck passing through the Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu border.

As soon as the police got information about this, the police reached the spot. The police saw that the truck was more than half empty. According to the information received, the police also searched CCTV footage of the highway to identify the miscreants, but so far they have not found any clue of them. Regarding the matter, the police said that a consignment of 15,000 mobile phones kept in the truck was going from Sriperumbudur in Chennai to Maharashtra. While the truck was passing through the Andhra Pradesh-Tamil Nadu border, some miscreants surrounded the truck from all sides. After that, the truck could not go forward.

The driver had to stop the truck under compulsion and after this, the miscreants threw the truck driver along the side of the highway and escaped with the loaded truck. During this, the local people saw the truck driver tied with a rope and they untied him, after which he told everything to them. In this case, it has also been reported that the crooks ran away leaving the truck on the Chennai-Tirupati highway near Nagri. Now the police is engaged in investigation.
