Lucknow: Some shocking facts have come to light in the case of the death of Hindu girl Varsha Raghuvanshi under suspicious circumstances in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the family members of Faheem alias Armaan Qureshi, who were upset to be released since his arrest, had filed a bail plea in the court. But the court rejected the bail plea citing a complaint by Varsha's brother.

Now, excerpts from the court's direction have been shared by Swarajya journalist Swati Goel Sharma in her tweet. It is clearly written that Varsha's brother had complained that his sister Varsha was lured away by Faheem Qureshi (Arman) a year and a half ago and married her. After this, Faheem's family members started harassing Varsha. She was beaten up because she was a Hindu. According to the complaint, Faheem and his family members used to cut meat, cook it and force her to eat it. They asked for a car and Rs 5 lakh. Varsha in her in-laws was called 'Kaafir Ki Aulad' and was insulted by abusing Hindu gods and goddesses.

In the complaint, Varsha's brother has informed that he was informed on November 12, 2021, that his sister has been murdered. When her family members reached there, Varsha's body was lying on the floor. The court, while hearing the case, took note of the fact that Varsha died within about one-and-a-half years of her marriage under suspicious circumstances and the incidents with her were of a serious and abominable nature. The court, while examining all the facts and citing the gravity of the offence, rejected the bail of the accused. According to the documents, the court rejected the bail pleas of Qayyum Qureshi and Naim Qureshi.

Let us know that in November last year, when the case of the murder of Varsha Raghuvanshi came to light for the first time, Faheem had fled from his house. The police arrested his family members and started questioning them. At the same time, there was so much anger among the girl's family and other local Hindus that they all created a ruckus together. The deceased's brother was called at 6 pm to inform him that his sister had committed suicide. But, after reaching the spot and looking at the earlier events, they suspected that Varsha was first killed and then her body was hanged. He had then given his complaint on the entire matter and further action was initiated by nabbing Faheem's relatives.
