Lucknow: A case of strangulating a young woman to death came to light recently in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. After receiving the post-mortem report, on Thursday (January 12), the police revealed the case by arresting two accused. Police have said that the girl did not commit suicide, but was murdered by her brother and father.

The incident took place in Dulhapur Band alias Darapur under the Anchoda Kamboh police station area of the district. A young woman had an affair with a young man from the village. On the evening of December 10, the girl reached his house to meet her boyfriend. When the girlfriend's family started searching, she was found with the boyfriend. On this, the family of the girl fiercely created a ruckus. The girl died under suspicious circumstances the same night. On receiving information the next day, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body, and sent it for post-mortem. At that time, the police thought the murder was a case of suicide.  

After the post-mortem report came out, it was revealed that the young woman was strangulated to death. After this, the police arrested the girlfriend's father and brother on Thursday. Police said that the fraternity of the girlfriend's lover was different. Therefore, the family did not want to marry the young woman with her boyfriend. Due to this, the girl's father Shahid, and brother Shahnawaz strangled her to death.
