Hamirpur: In the incident of kidnapping and raping a four-year-old girl in a village under the Jariya police station area of Hamirpur district of UP, police on Wednesday registered a case and arrested the accused teenager. The victim has been sent for medical examination. Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh has said that an investigation is being done into the incident. The accused is also a minor, in connection with which he is being questioned.

It is noteworthy that a man had gone to the farm with his family on Tuesday in a village in the Jariya area. He had a 4-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son alone in the house. Meanwhile, a 24-year-old teenager from the neighborhood took the girl home and got raped with her as soon as she got a chance. The accused teen escaped from the scene after the girl's condition deteriorated. As soon as the information was received about the incident, Jariya Police Station Vikramajit Singh reached the spot and investigated the matter.

Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Kumar Singh has said that in the incident, a complaint of rape and POSCO Act has been registered at the police station on the complaint of family members. The accused teenager is also being arrested and questioned about the incident at the police station. He told that the girl has been sent to the hospital for medical examination.
