According to media reports, the Rajasthan Police has informed that a man was thrashed in Jodhpur for sharing his review of the film 'The Kerala Story' on his social media and requesting women to watch the film. Police has informed on Sunday that a minor who attacked has been taken into custody. The victim is a worker of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), who has lodged an FIR against 3 people.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Derawar Singh has told that the victim was returning home on Saturday (May 6) night when 3 people stopped him and accused him of insulting his community (Muslims) by praising the film on WhatsApp status. The accused even threatened the complainant of dire consequences and assaulted him. The case is being investigated.

Supporters of PFI-ISIS opposing The Kerala Story :-

Meanwhile, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur has targeted the opposition parties for opposing the film. He said that those protesting against the film 'The Kerala Story' are supporters of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) and terrorist organization ISIS. The Union Minister said at a function in Gurugram that 'The Kerala Story' has exposed the conspiracy in which Hindu and Christian girls were converted and forced into terrorism.

Let us tell you that in Tamil Nadu too, the film's release has been stopped after protests by political parties. Whereas, the Madras High Court, while giving green signal to this film, has said that this film is not against Islam, but against the terrorist organization ISIS. The court also emphasized that Hindu ascetics have been shown as rapists and smugglers in many films, but there was no uproar, so there is no justification for stopping this film.
