The Indian weather department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains for the next two days, ie September 19 and 20. A low-pressure area is forming in the northwestern region of the Bay of Bengal, leading to maximum rainfall in Odisha, coastal areas of Karnataka, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar. Also, the monsoon trough lies to the north of its normal state, which goes from Ganganagar in Rajasthan to the Bay of Bengal.

In addition, the monsoon trough is expected to remain in the Himalayan foothills during the next five days of the western end and the eastern end is expected to move south from September 19. The weather conditions are expected to remain the same for the next two days. The Indian weather department has expressed the possibility of heavy rainfall in these areas. Due to these favorable conditions, coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal and northern regions of Karnataka, Kerala may receive very heavy rainfall for the next three days.

Additionally on Thursday, the Indian Weather Department has given moderate to moderate rains with light thunderstorms in Madhya Pradesh, Virbhadra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Odisha, Telangawa, Gujarat, Southwest Uttar Pradesh, South Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim and Chhattisgarh. Has also warned of Skymet Weather, a private weather forecasting company, says low-pressure terrain can also intensify. It is likely to rain in these two days.
