Barabanki: On February 7, a court in Barabanki district of Atraura village of Police station Jahangirabad area, who killed his wife and reached the police station with a severed head, was sentenced to life imprisonment on Saturday, and was also fined Rs 20 thousand. Whereas the woman's father-in-law has been acquitted as exonerated.

It has been learned that on Sunday, January 10, 2009, in the Jahangirabad police station, Shivraj, a resident of village Jhalotar police station in Ajna, Shivraj named his sister Rajni, aged 22, for the murder of her husband Mata Prasad. And was lodged against father-in-law Ishwardeen. The husband himself came to the police station with his wife's head chopped off. Jahangirabad police has also imposed a section of the Gangster Act in the case between the actions.

After hearing, the court acquitted Ishwardin, the father-in-law of the deceased, for murder and gangster, while the husband Mata Prasad was sentenced to life imprisonment and was fined Rs 20,000. If he does not pay the fine, he will have to face additional imprisonment of 6 months.
