Yusuf has so far scored 3,000 runs at average of 30 at an impressive strike-rate of 146. He also has a hundred and 13 half-centuries. He became the 10th Indian to cross 3,000-run IPL barrier. Suresh Raina leads the tally with 4,658 IPL runs, followed by Virat Kohli on second - 4,649 runs, Rohit Sharma scores 4,345 runs, Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir (4,217), Robin Uthappa (3,940), MS Dhoni (3,700), Shikhar Dhawan (3,696 during the match), Ajinkya Rahane (3,217) and Dinesh Karthik (3,097). Of them, Yusuf has the best strike rate but the third-worst average.

Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder batsmen Yusuf Pathan, who started his IPL career with Rajasthan Royals (RR), then moving on to two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders. He has won three IPL titles as a player, one with first champion RR and two-time with KKR. His is also the first player to go 3,000 runs and 30+ wickets in Indian Premier League.
