After Naveen's death, now an Indian student injured in Ukraine.

New Delhi: Russian attacks in Ukraine have wreaked havoc. Russian attacks in Ukraine are also wounding India. After the death of an Indian student in the war between Russia and Ukraine was confirmed, now the news of the injury of another Indian student in Kharkiv is coming to light. The injured student was accompanied by medical student Naveen Sekharappa Gyangoudar, who was killed in the attack. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai confirmed the dead and injured student. 

CM Basavaraj Bommai said, "Two more students from Chalageri village of Ranebennur taluk in Haveri district were there. One is injured, while the other is safe." CM Bommai has said that he spoke to Naveen's father, Shekharappa Gyangoudar, and expressed grief over the incident. CM Bommai said that his focus is only on how to bring Naveev's body to India.

CM Bommai further said, "We have not yet received any information as to what is the condition of the body. I have spoken to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO)  and requested them. I have also sent a message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring the body from Ukraine," he said, adding,  "Our officials are in constant touch with embassy officials in Ukraine."
