A glimmer of brightness amidst the downpour. Don't Worry Darling, a highly anticipated upcoming psychological thriller, has recently been dogged by controversy as new rumors regarding the cast surface on a regular basis. The film's star, Florence Pugh, shared pictures of herself and the cast at the Venice Film Festival on her Instagram to put out the fire during this uproar.

Pugh made her red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival alongside co-stars Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Nick Kroll, Sydney Chandler, and director Olivia Wilde. She also attended the premiere of her upcoming movie. Since rumors about her disliking Styles and Wilde's romance on the set began to circulate, Pugh had been embroiled in a number of rumors. However, with Pugh's eagerly awaited comment on the movie, things appear to have calmed down. Pugh had missed the press conference that was held prior to the red carpet at the Festival because of scheduling conflicts with her work on the Dune sequel.

In her lengthy appreciation post, Pugh wrote,  "I'm still taking it all in! Qwoaaar. What a moment this was? A massive congratulations to everyone standing on that carpet. We premiered in Venice! A huge wonderful win in itself." She further  continued, "I’d never been to Venice Film Festival before.. It was mega! The crowds! The cheers! The energy was incredible." Praising her co-stars and the film’s crew she said "And to all the cast and crew as well who helped to make this movie, thank you for all of your hard work. We genuinely wouldn’t have been there without your talent and we appreciate it hugely."

Not only this, but the lead actress of the film also gave a special shout-out to Chris Pine and went on to write, "I also just can’t help but post how bloody cute and hilarious Chris Pine is for being the no.1 photographer, getting down on white pressed trousered knees for angles.. now that’s dedication. Love you Chrissy."
