Patna: A large cache of liquor has been caught just two hundred meters from the bypass station in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The team of the excise department has recovered about four thousand cartons of liquor kept hidden in the chicken poultry warehouse in Marcha-Marchi village of Patna City at eight o'clock on Sunday night. Its value is being estimated at two crore rupees.

The department is considering this as the biggest action of the state so far. Six Labor and two drivers have been arrested from the spot. Four vehicles including two trucks have also been seized. Both trucks were loaded with liquor cartons. The department of the product department was stunned to see the cartons of liquor-filled with the truck as well as the warehouse. In search of the main accused related to liquor smuggling, the police of the excise and bypass police are raiding the possible targets. Large liquor mafia is suspected to be involved in this business of liquor smuggling.

The excise department had received secret information that a large quantity of illegal liquor was kept in the chicken poultry warehouse in Marcha Marawi village of Bypass. Along with this, a large consignment of liquor is also being introduced in the godown. On the basis of the information, the team of the Excise Department reached Marcha Marchi village at around eight o'clock on Sunday night. The team then raided the warehouse. During this time, two trucks loaded with alcohol were seized. On the spot, the team arrested six liquor laborers and two drivers. Along with this, four vehicles including both trucks carrying liquor were seized.
