Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, a local youth named Usvir Yadav was killed by some cow smugglers in Kasganj in the past. The youth's only fault was that he prevented the smugglers from stealing. But, the smugglers took his life in return. The smugglers are now under police custody. They have been identified as Saddam and Jumman.
According to media reports, Usveer's cousin Govind has informed about the incident that took place on the night of November 16-17. He said, 'I was sleeping near usveer on charpai. At about 12 o'clock, we heard the voice of our neighbour Jagdish. He was screaming that the thief was taking our buffalo. After hearing this sound, when Usveer and others went to catch the thief, the thief shot him in the head. The accompanying men arranged to take Usvir to the hospital as soon as he could, but he had succumbed to his injuries midway.
According to the report, Usveer was the eldest of 6 siblings. She had an older sister who was married. Two brothers and sisters attended school and worked at home. Govind says that Usveer had been living on rent in Delhi for more than a year and worked there. He used to send money continuously at home. According to Govind, Usveer was the main source of income in his house as his father is now aging. A case related to his murder has been registered at Kasganj Sikandarpur Vaishya police station. The police had also reported this on their Twitter on November 17.
