Bahraich: The body of a missing woman was found in a pond under suspicious circumstances on Friday. The parents have expressed the possibility of murder and throwing the body. The police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Ramkumar Singh, son of Jaskaran Singh, a resident of Kans village under Tikaitnagar police station of Barabanki, had married his niece Anita daughter of Anil Kumar Singh to Jaibaksh Singh alias Monu, son of Awadh Raj Singh, a resident of Virthana Ghat under Police Station Kaiserganj, about 12 years ago.
It has been alleged that since marriage, her husband always used to beat and torture her for dowry. After convincing the relatives, the matter calmed down. It is alleged that the wife has gone missing somewhere due to the assault for two days. Let me tell you that Ramkumar Singh, uncle of the missing woman in the case, has given the information in the police station Kaiserganj and estimated that his niece has been killed by her husband and thrown. The children of the missing woman were also not opening their mouths for fear of their father.
Now reports have revealed that the woman's body was found in the pond on Friday. Kotwal Daddan Singh has said that the body is being sent for post-mortem. Investigations are being done as per the rules.
