New Delhi: Residents of Delhi will have to face heat wave for a few more days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that heat wave conditions will continue at isolated places in Delhi from June 8-9 and the temperature may go up to 44-46 degrees Celsius. Imd's senior scientist R K Jenamani on Tuesday said that due to the western disturbance, cloudy sky and drizzle is expected in some parts of northwest India and central India on June 11.

He said that from June 11, the situation of heat wave will end. He further said that as far as the monsoon is concerned, it has hit some other parts of Tamil Nadu. Heavy rain is also expected in northeast India. Jenamani has informed that due to heavy western disturbance on June 11, cloudy and light rain is expected in parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. We have issued yellow warning for 3 days in Delhi. The heat will end on June 11.
