Eminem is preparing to offer his famous Mom's Spaghetti in a new restaurant he's opening in his hometown of Detroit. "His hands are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/ There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti," Slim Shady raps in his 2002 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single "Lose Yourself," and the Stans are well aware of Mom's Spaghetti's customary location (on Slim Shady's sweater).

It will now be officially situated at 2131 Woodward Ave. in Detroit, with a grand opening scheduled for September 29. The rapper puked a Chinese takeaway container of Mom's spaghetti into the Detroit river in a 30-second television commercial that aired on the local WXYZ station Friday morning before showing the restaurant's menu of spaghetti with and without meatballs, as well as s'ghetti sandwiches.

Mom's Spaghetti is part of a collaboration with the Union Joints restaurant company, which has previously worked with Eminem on his Mom's Spaghetti pop-ups. In 2017, he staged one at The Shelter to coincide with the release of his ninth album, 'Revival,' which starts up one on the Billboard 200. In April 2020, as the epidemic strengthened its hold on the United States, the rapper again gave bowls of his mother's spaghetti to Detroit hospital staff.
