Police have arrested and detained a 35-year-old drunken father on Friday for allegedly beating the head of a 15-year-old girl to the ground. Talking about the case, Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar said, "Ramesh Varman, a resident of Vijay Nagar police station area, has been arrested for killing his one-and-a-half-year-old girl Rupali.
In the case, he further said, "The accused allegedly killed the girl by throwing her head to the ground after she was weeping in her house last night and then buried her body under a stone in a drain near Deendayal Chowk." "In the morning, the sanitation workers informed the police about the body of the girl and the police recovered the body," he said, quoting a five-year-old and three-year-old two sisters of the deceased girl, who was hospitalized and the mother gave birth to another girl.
On Thursday night, the father of the girl came home under the influence of alcohol and lost her head when she cried and slammed her head to the ground. Talking about the incident, he said, Ramesh took Rupali in a critical condition and did not return home overnight and the two girls in the house appeared to the police in a very scary condition after the incident.
