Lucknow: A ruckus broke out in UP's Hapur when police recovered the body in 49 pieces of a man from a pit. The shocking incident took place at Khurana village under the Hafizpur police station area. In fact, while the police were looking for Irfan, the missing person for 3 days, during the interrogation, the police suspected Irfan's friends Majeed and Raghib. When the police interrogated them strictly, the two confessed to the murder. According to the police, Irfan was killed for money.
After confessing to the same murder, on the trail of the criminals, the police recovered Irfan's body cut into 49 pieces from a pit. Excavations were carried out on the spot to recover the body due to which a heavy police force including ASP was deployed at the spot. During police interrogation, the two criminals revealed that all the friends were together on the day of Holi on March 18 and all of them had consumed liquor. During this, he received the news of Rs 7 lakh Irfan got by selling the house. Then, Irfan's friends' intentions over those money got spoiled and they took Irfan into belief and killed him.
Thereafter, the criminals chopped the body into several pieces and buried it by digging a pit in front of their office. Regarding this murder case, ASP Sarvesh Mishra of Hapur said that the brother of the deceased, Imran, had lodged a complaint with the police that his brother Irfan had gone missing. Irfan's brother had suspected Majeed and Raghib. Now strict action is being taken by the police against the culprits.
