Lucknow: A sensational case has come to light from Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh. Police of Khairighat police station in the district had registered a case on Sunday afternoon in connection with the rape of a teenager 11 days ago. Within 16 hours, the accused were arrested. The accused have been sent to jail after interrogation.

In fact, the 14-year-old daughter of a resident of a village under Khairighat police station had gone to a marriage ceremony in a house in the village itself on the night of June 11. On going for a short span of time, a young man present there abducted her and took her to an empty school. There were already two young men there. The teenager was gang-raped by Munan alias Pramod Kumar and Mithun, residents of Chhatarpur. While Amarjeet, a resident of Bakaina, molested, and took off the obscene video. According to the teenager, after about two hours, she was released, so she went straight home. The next day, he informed his mother about the incident.  

On June 20, the victim along with her mother went to the police station and lodged a complaint about the incident.   The police immediately registered a case under sections of molestation, gang-rape, intimidation, Pocso Act in the case and sent the teenager for medical examination in the custody of the woman constable. SHO Nikhil Kumar Mishra, constables Ajay Yadav and Shyam Ji Yadav have arrested the accused from their house and sent them to jail.
