Hollywood strike affects shooting of Jennifer Lopez's series

It has been a month since members of the Writers Guild of America went on strike. So far, nothing special seems to be coming out, due to which the shooting of the shows has started to stop continuously. So far, due to the writers strike, the shooting of many shows like 'Dare Devil Born Again', 'Abbott Elementary', 'Stranger Things', 'Saturday Night Live' has stopped.

Let us know that the shooting of some shows was not affected before the strike by the members of the Writers Guild of America, because they had permission to shoot the show because they had a script written before May 2, 2023. But now the shooting of all the shows has been  completely stopped, one of which has also been added to Jennifer Lopez's series 'Unstoppable'.

Members of the Writers Guild of America and the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers have met several times on this issue, but no concrete result seems to be coming out so far. Warner Bros. Television, Universal Studios Group, Disney Television Studios sent mails to their writers that they would be suspended if they did not cooperate with the studio. This also did not affect the writers and they are adamant on their demands.

Hollywood writers demand that they should go better for movies and TV as well as shows streaming on OTT platforms. They allege that due to the OTT platform, the way their work and pressure is big, they are not being paid at all. The authors demand that they should also be given a share in the profits that are being made in streaming.
